Foxwarren, the Canadian indie collective fronted by Andy Shauf, is back with their new LP 2, out today on CD and LP via ANTI-; grab it from us to receive a limited zine made by the band! London-based experimental rock outfit Caroline returns with their sophomore album, also fittingly titled Caroline 2. The ever-prolific garage rock legend Ty Segall has a new record out via Drag City today - grab Possession on CD, cassette, or LP. Long-running post “rock” band Swans release the new album Birthing, out today on Michael Gira’s label Young God. Alan Sparhawk, back with his second post-Low album in as many years, has a new record out today with fellow Duluth, MN band Trampled By Turtles; the new LP With Trampled By Turtles is out today on Sub Pop.
Two seminal, but very different, 2015 albums are celebrating their 10 year anniversary this week; Sufjan Stevens’ most intimate work Carrie and Lowell and Kendrick Lamar’s Grammy winning To Pimp a Butterfly both receive the deluxe reissue treatment, both available on CD and limited colored vinyl.
